Hello my name is John and I am building my very own gaming computer for the first time. This is my second post on this subject and I thought that I received a very great answer the first time, but more opinions could never hurt. Anyways I am looking for a simple parts list of a gaming computer of under 1000$. I already have the monitors and the Windows OS. I am looking for an AMD FX-9370 Eight-Core for my CPU and I was looking at the Rosewill THOR V2-White Edition for my case. These both total 370 dollars but other than that I would just like some opinions on what I should get to build my gaming box. Also I was looking at buying a 400 dollar 4gb graphics GTX 770 graphics card. I am ok with going a max of about 100 dollars over my 1000$ budget. Thanks so much for the help!!!

It is best to put this together here www.pcpartpicker.com and from there on we can suggest/taylor your need. Since you're aiming for a GTX 770 what kind of gaming are you looking to do? 1080P, 1440P? and what games exactly?

Thanks

If you're spending $1K or more on a PC, go Intel, you will not be disappointed. Games will definitely perform better on Intel by a sizable margin. I'm personally not a fan of the Thor - it's huge and quite simply put, overkill. Spend less on the case and more on the graphics. If you have a flexible budget do something like this:
