Hello I'm looking to buy a new cpu and motherboard. I want to spend £250 max but more like £200.

I currently have the default motherboard that goes in the Alienware Aurora r3 and my cpu is Intel i7-2600k @ 3.2ghz.

The reason for the new motherboard and cpu is since moving my components from the Alienware case to the new case I've bought the cpu is getting extremely hot and the fan is running at full speed. I am getting like 30 - 50fps on csgo where as I usually get like 250fps.

I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti 4GB. I'm looking for a motherboard and cpu compatible with that that will get me similar fps to what I usually have.

Any help is much appreciated, I know very basic stuff about pcs so any questions anyone asks I won't be too good at answering haha.

Thanks
Jake

Unfortunately, upgrading the CPU and motherboard also means upgrading the RAM.

If you don't mind being limited by RAM, here's what I'd suggest:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor (£144.95 @ AWD-IT)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450M-HDV Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (£53.32 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (£47.58 @ Aria PC)
Total: £245.85
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Going with the extra RAM, the 2nd Gen Ryzen puts you over your budget Keeping it closer to £200, but you could try this:

Out of all of them, which would you recommend or could you recommend any other builds? Will be willing to put my budget to £300. I've never been AMD always been Intel but not much of a difference is there?

Thank you for the help. Baring it mind that new one is in dollars so will be.potentially cheaper. Will all of those motherboards support my Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti
