Help for read-only files and how to change them

my flash drive ,whenever i insert it ,it will said it will request flash need to be formatted but when i try to format it ,it will said is a read file,so help me

I remember this issue happened to one of my friends pen drive, a transcend one. Just couldn't format it through windows.
Luckily after doing some research, I found out that you have to go to Transcends website and download their special formatting tool. Downloaded and formatted with it, and ta-da, worked like brand new again.
