Alright so i already asked a similar question, so i have an idea on what to buy but i still have some questions regarding on what exactly i have to replace and what i can keep.

My current pc is just to old because i got it for almost 4-5 years now, so i decided to upgrade it but considering the age i am thinking i probably have to replace everyting (graphic cars, motherboard, ect..)

I mainly play games on this pc like, Skyrim (mainly lately), MMorpg's, Fps, Rpg, strategy
Balanced gaming as you can say.

Here are my specs btw:

Cpu: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 650@ 3.20GHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti (VRAM 1GB)
Motherboard: MSI F55M-GD45 (MS-7588)
Memory: 4096MB RAM

Anyway, my C: drive is only 200GB and D: 1.16TB, should i get new one or more?

I have Windows 7 Home premium 64Bit, do i need to replace this as well? I don't think so but just being sure 😉

Also do i need to replace my case or am i able to keep my old one?
Case: Antec NSK-4482B EC PC Case ATX with Power Supply 380

These are my DVD drive and card reader that i currently use with my case:
3.5" Internal USB Card Reader
Samsung 22X DVDRW Internal PATA DVD Speed Plus Writer Drive SH-S222A/BEBE

My monitor/screen is this: iiyama e2208hds b2, do i need to replace this?

I have a keyboard/mouse so no need to worry about that.

Anyway thanks for all the help and sorry if i forgot something.

I know i am asking a lot already but if you want, can you give me some good recommendations on what to replace everything with?

Edit: i forgot to add this but my budget is around 600-1000 Euro

Solution
That is much goodness there...:) Get a 840 Evo instead of a 850 Pro ssd, and you might be able to squeeze in a 500 GB ssd like I did, so you can install OS and pretty much all your games on the ssd, with the platter drive for mass storage.

Make sure the delivered to your door taxes included price is what you think it is. I see the above quoted in USD.

I have the 290X version of the video card you picked, runs quiet and cool, great performance.
Cheap it was not...:)

Don't forget thermal paste!

okay so upgrade your Computer to:
8gb's of 1600mhz ram (just add another 4gb stick 2x2gb if your already running two sticks)
throw in a newer graphics card something like the GTX 970 will work wonders if you can afford it.
Beef up your Power supply to a 550w.
Throw in a 120GB SSD for your Game storage/OS.
and then if you encounter temperature issues move case to something like the Corsair 230T or if you can fit some extra fans the try that option.

Hope it helps!

The drives should certainly be re-useable if they are working correctly now, and they have enough capacity for your needs.
Your copy of Windows in most cases is not re-useable unless it is/was a full retail copy and you have the cd.
Excellent mid tower cases can be had for $60 ish dollars, my 912 HAF as an example. So buy a new one or not as you see fit, but newer ones tend to have things like more spots for fans, better airflow, and the holes already there for liquid cooling if you ever wanted to.
Whether you keep your monitor or not depends on budget. Using it for now frees up $120-$150 ish dollars, or more, for the new build.
Then get a new bigger monitor down the road when you see a killer sale on Newegg or wherever.

The builder guys can probably come up with a very solid build for your proposed budget, just add or subtract as much of your old system you intend to recycle.

Re use the dvd drive if it still works fine, these days they don't see a lot of use and should last a very long time. Though new ones are very cheap.

Link to the System Builder Marathon article here on Tom's. Somewhere between the budget system and mainstream performance rig would fit your budget well, possibly with even more video card if you save enough from reusing some parts.

Thanks for all the info.

jonsmith9847: Thanks i check it out

exroofer: I probably need to get a new copy of windows, Do i need to get windows 8.1?
As for the case, i probably get a new one because i can't get a extra fan in my current one and lately i have problems with overheating.
Also thanks for the site, i will check it out.

john TJ: Thanks for that but i think that might be a bit to pricy to my taste but still i will check it out

If anyone else got some good build or recommendations for my price budget, feel free to add it :)

Thanks for the help everyone

Win 8 is cheaper these days, just install Start8 for 5 bucks. and it will act mostly like win7 desktop.

Either build down from John's suggestion to hit your budget, like not getting a ssd right away as an example, or up from one of the Tom's System builder rigs.

PS, I have a Samsung Evo 840, a fair bit cheaper than a Pro, and has great performance. The motherboard in the above build is awesomesauce, but one half that price will still offer most of the features and performance, etc.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/mainstream-enthusiast-pc-build,4023.html

The mainstream Tom's build is $1125 USD. Which I believe is just under 1000 Euros.
Cut back on video card if it needs to cost less. Then upgrade it next year when today's 500 euro cards are on sale for 250 euros..:)

Re use your old drives for now, take another 100 euros off. Meaning you could have the core of a solid gaming rig for 800 ish euros, smack in the middle of your proposed budget.

Check all prices delivered in your home country, taxes and duties can mean some things are a fair bit more expensive where you are.

Alright so i've changed a bit and added some things from all you guys suggestions, to make it hit my pricerange and managed to come out with this:
