HELP! FORMAT HDD!

ok so i just bought windows 7 today but cant install because my linux partitions needs to be formatted but the windows menu wont let me and i dont know how to do it in linux someone please help i want windows!!

You can just download a copy of gparted and use that for the partitioning. Then you just need to go in and install Windows and you're done.

Use gparted to remove ALL partitions, apply the changes (lots of people forget this) and then the Win7 install will just treat the system like a virgin disc.
