Hello!

i have been receiving bad fps drops (7-30fps) in my game Tree Of Savior ever since i got it. my brother who has a lower pc build than mine doesn't experience these fps drops and he can run it on high graphics settings in a stable 60fps while i have to lower all the settings just to get a somewhat better but still very shaky gameplay.

My PC:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz (8CPUs), ~3.5GHz
Ram: 8gb HyperX Blu (1 pc.)
GPU: NVDIA GeForce GTX 660
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 10586)

Brother's PC:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Ram: two pcs. 4gb Kingstons (total = 8gb)
GPU: NVDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 10586)

I tried taking my pc apart and cleaned it of dust I even bought 4 extra fans for my case thinking that maybe it's just overheating. It helped bring the fps up to 60 but only when I'm on low graphic settings. every time I bump it up to high settings it would go back down and fluctuate at around 30fps.

GAME REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum:
OS: Windows XP
Processor: Intel Pentium Core 2
Memory: 4gb RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8600

Recomended:
OS: Windows 7 or later
Processor: Intel i5 or later
Memory: 8gb RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 or later

Pls help.. 🙁

If more fans helped maybe its still overheating, just less. Monitor cpu ang gpu temps with hardware monitor while you game and see if anything is runing too hot.
Do you get the same preformance dips in all games or just this one? Have you installed the gpu drivers

thanks for the reply! yes my gpu drivers are up to date.

i downloaded "msi afterburner" and "core temp" to watch the temp. but I don't know how to tell if its too hot already.
right now my stable(not running anything) cpu temps. are:
(using "Core Temp")
Core #0: 40-41 C
Core #1: 36-37 C
Core#2: 36-37 C
Core#3: 38-39 C
GPU: 31 C

after 5 mins in game:
Core #0: 61 C
Core #1: 56 C
Core#2: 57 C
Core#3: 56 C
GPU: 43 C

is that too hot? im not so sure. and i haven't tried any other game yet.

CORRECTION!:
in game temp is:
Core #0: 70 C
Core #1: 63 C
Core#2: 65 C
Core#3: 64 C
GPU: 49 C

GPU usage % fluctuates from 50-80

dropped down to around 15-20 when I closed Chrome. but fps is still low
