I recently bought a Celeron 667@833 (1.8v) to replace my 300A@450 on my Asus P2B, and have been running it for a month, no prob. I also bought a Asus S370-DL slocket so that I could adjust the voltage.
Then I took it to my friends place to try on a m/b that supported more FSB settings (AOpen AX63Pro - VIA Apollo Pro chipset), and took it to 900, when it crashed in BIOS. I removed it and left.
Now I'm at home, and whatever I do, it doesn't boot up, nothing appears on the screen, even at 667. I have checked all the jumper settings etc.
How can I check if I have cooked the CPU? I'll be checking it in my friends comp ASAP.
Thanks in advance
