Help: Gaming PC Stuttering/Lagging

Troubleshooting Help: RX 480 i5 6600 16 gb RAM

Cursor lag In games like PUBG and Rainbow Six Siege my cursor starts stuttering/stops responding, happens occasionally in browser as well. Not a mouse problem as I have tested with another. Can this be a problem with bottlenecking? My temps are normal under load (55 C - CPU) and the Video card goes to around 80 C with the fans at 63%). Was working completely fine a week or two ago, dont know what went wrong.

Build is two years old

Tried cleaning inside the case (namely the fans and the CPU heatsink) and the problem persists. Also, malwarebytes detected nothing and the problem persists still. No temp or load issues

edit: To clarify, the game runs well, but the cursor stutters and stops responding. The game meanwhile, at this time, runs smoothly

Troubleshooting: Tried scanning for viruses (nothing came up), cleaning the CPU, defragmenting, all to no avail. Is it a CPU problem? Theres nothing else that could be causing ti right?

i might be something to do with your onboard usb controller or your mouse battery is low

The common element between games and browser is hardware acceleration from the videocard. Do you have these issues when using the mouse in non hardware accelerated software?

Like what? It doesnt happen in browser at all now. But occurs in games all the time. I tried playing LoL and the problem wasnt there, though. So in higher performance games it happens

Its not a mouse problem. Its a new, wired mouse and I tried several and they all have the same problem
