help getting a new processor

i dont know if i should get a pc with a skylake pentium g4400 or a amd fx 6300
im not going to play mad games so im not getting i7's
what one would be better?

Go for the i3 6100, it will be worth it.

I would get an i3 over both of those, the Pentiums are only dual cores and the FX6300 is an obsolete socket with poor single core performance which is a big thing with all tasks, not just games.

I agree with this.

An i3 6100 will pack a lot more punch than a Pentium. Even if you are not playing mad games, the i3 will assist with things like loading an email inbox, spreadsheets, word documents, etc. You will notice a much snappier system.
