Help with new SSD
About a week ago the HDD on my Acer Nitro 5 went out on me after owning it for just 3 months. I went ahead and purchased a PNY 500GB SSD 2.5" to replace it while upgrading it as well.
Unfortunately I have no recovery disk, no windows installation disk, and no other computer to simply use rufus and boot from that.
What I do have is a windows 10 pro ISO and a Samsung S20 Ultra. I was wondering is it possible to connect my phone (which has the ISO on it) via the USB-C port on my laptop and boot from that to ultimately install the fresh OS onto the new drive?
I also have a USB-C to female usb 3.0 and a 32gb thumb drive if there is an avenue to accomplishing this that way.
