Help getting new graphics card.

your best move is for an AMD Radeon card that a 99% chance will be compatible with your system (newegg has a really nice return policy if it does not work)

i can reccomend this for $100

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161387 and a free DiRT 3 coupon

that should do well for you with your system or if you want to go hardcore or future-proof I would take this for a little more

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161384 and a free DiRT 3 coupon $135 after rebate

if you need any help with installation or advice on anything you are open to ask..

you will however need to get a molex 4-pin to a 6-pin pci-e power adatpor (included with the two models above)

emachines might be using a proprietary psu... who knows

If I took a picture of the inside would that help?

Ive installed RAM and Harddrives before but nothing else. I think I could figure it out. Ill look at that new egee stuff since they take returns. Thanks, I use tiger direct usually. Is newegg better?

Still not sure about the pci-e type. I think it's 2.0 but if it's a 1.0 the amd radeons could give problems. They might work, but they also may not.

Also ; check your psu to be safe, it should state somewhere the total watts. Got this from a review from your link. I think it's nonsense but you never know ;
"Decent case with access to multiple card reader, usb port and audio port on the front. What could be better: A vibration can sometime be heard on mine. It's probably the
HD causing the case to shake a little. I've read that the power supply is only 150W. It's ok if you don't upgrade."

If your psu is the Antec Earthwatts 550 you're fine.

not to be mean but most likely it is not rather an aftermarket install
