Looking to upgrade my PC with a new AMD gpu and cpu. I'm looking to play games at max settings and hopefully be future proof so I don't have to pay to upgrade for a while. I was thinking of getting the ASUS RX Vega 64 and Ryzen 7 2700x. Then a 750w power supply. Would this be a good setup or should I do something else? If not, what would be the best pair to get that's not over $1,500 including the battery and motherboard? Thanks.

Solution
A little over budget, but something like this should be good...

Thanks for the reply. I just have a few more questions though. To help save money I already have 8gb of memory in my current PC (I know I'll have to upgrade that but I'm holding off for now), I got storage already, and a case but I'm not sure if my current case will fit the new parts though. I'll add a picture of my case because I don't know what model it is. And I looked and saw that the 1080 Ti is on sale and ends soon. I won't be able to take use of the deal so I'm roughly estimating that it'll cost me $950 for that. Since i'll be saving money on the other parts. would you still recommend the EVGA card, or a different one.

4k would be nice, but 1440p would most likely be better.

Is this for USD or CAD?
Is your current RAM DDR4 or DDR3? DDR3 is not compatible with this build.
What does your current storage comprise?
What is your case form factor?

Please specify all your current parts so that we can give you a better suggestion.

The pricing I am going off of is USD. My RAM type says it's unavailable so if I have to ill just purchase new ones right away.
AMD FX- 4300 Quad Core Processor 3.80 GHz
AMD R7 200 Series
8GB RAM
1TB hard drive
And I don't know my motherboard model along with my case, but I know the mobo is a Gigabit, and the case is a CyberPower

Basically you have to get everything except the HDD and case(if your existing is mid-tower/full-tower).

The GPU make/model isnt too relevant as all of them perform around the same, as long as you stick to the popular brands like EVGA.

max settings gaming on a 144hz monitor?

then you need to go 8700k with gtx 1080 ti

even an i5 8400 is better at gaming than an overclocked ryzen
