Question Help/Guidance on Building a New Gaming Rig!

So I have been waiting for the 3900x to come out with the new gen boards to see what they have to offer. With being a gamer and a programmer it seems that the 3900x is my best option unless someone disagrees? I have found very little difference in gaming and big performance gains in other areas like compiling and so on but I am open to anyone elses expertise. I know computer parts but not really quality of brands and what not. What I am looking for is either someone to tell me something I dont know why I shouldnt go with the 3900x and go with the i9-9900k or some help with a 3900x build with a new x570 board. I am not as versed on that and want to make sure that I am getting parts like an m.2, gpu, and ram that compliments that board nicely and use all of its latest innovations. The only thing I know is that I will want a 2080ti, and I will be gaming at 1440p. Any help from someone maybe more versed then I am would be appreciated.
