Help. I broke the tabs on my mobo ram slot. Can it still work?

While I was inspecting my mobo, i see that the tab on the ram slot was broken off. Can I fix this?

It will work if the RAM seats, but (depending on how they broke) getting them out may be very difficult. If the completely came off, then the pressure of the pins will hold your RAM in place and you can get them in and out fairly easily. If just the thumb tab poke then they'll roll closed and you'd need a tool to get them out. Your best bet is to RMA the board or get a new one if it's out of warranty.
