Question HELP : I have 2x8GB Ram but only halve (8GB) is usable

Hi, my CPU hardware is :
Motherboard : Gigabyte F2A68HM-DS2 rev 1.1
CPU : AMD a8-7650K
RAM DDR3 : VGEN Platinum 8GB PC 12800 and APACER 8GB DDR3 PC 12800 (2x8GB)
Graphic Card : Radeon R9 270
OS : Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
the problem is i have 2x8GB of memory, but only halve (8GB) is usable, can someone help?
i've tried some stuff like changing the boot on MSCONFIG but it's not working.

Hi Inverse88,

(None of your links are opening for me) It looks like you have 2 different strips of RAM installed. There is the possibility that they don't want to play together and so only 1 is showing up. Have you tried having only 1 strip in at a time and testing? There is also the chance that 1 of the sticks is bad.

No, I can't view those links either. Sorry. However, it's more than likely on my end and not yours as my works network has strict allowances. Another member here will be along shortly and will look at the pics and advise. In the meantime, Try doing as I mentioned above and let us know if it works.

The mix matched ram, might not be doing you any favors. Have you checked to see how much ram, your APU's graphics is setup to use, in bios?

Guys, thanks for helping me, i've tried to put RAM 1 to slot 2 and RAM 2 to slot 1, and it works, , now my RAM is 16GB, i dont think the problem was with the mixing RAM with different brand case closed, thank you all!
