Help - I have a question

I own pc with specs :
Core2Duo e8400 3.0
4GB DDR2
nVidia GT 440 V2

I purchased a new cpu Core2Quad q6600 , but when i read some infos , specs , I see my curect CPU have System Bus 1333MHz but the new q6600 have System Bus 1066 MHz , can i replace the e8400 with this q6600 ?

Hello

In short you can replace it yes. So you can swap them out. The FSB speed is the speed at which the CPU can send information across its buses to the memory controller. This speed is multiplied by the multiplier to get the desired frequency.
