Hi,
I just built my new pc, and everything seemed normal. So then, I started it up. I noticed smoke started to rise up out of the vents, so I immediately turned it off. Some people have suggested its the psu, case fans, or video card.

I doubt it's my psu as that came out of a previously working build.

Three out of five of my case fans are powered by molex, two of them being powered by a splitter.

Anyway, here are my parts :

Case: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-Z11-Plus-Installation-Anti-Vibration/dp/B007C008L2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387991732&sr=8-1&keywords=zalman+z11

Psu: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B007SU2QRK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1387992350&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165

Graphics card : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00DMB6D8W/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1387992484&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165

I'd be very grateful for any help, thanks! :)

If it's still running, even while smoking, it could be a dust ball that moved during component relocation and it's being fried by some hot component. Recommend remove the smoking part and blow through it with pressurized air. It could still be the PSU.

Is it possible that you shorted something when building the PC? Were you using an EDS Band? And if so, was it connected to bare, unfinished and unpainted metal? Also... Can you power it on one part at time, take it out of th case then do the following.
starting with just mobo and CPU, power the system on by bridging the power pins where the FPIO power cable connects. then go ahead and look for smoke. also look for very hot VRM's and glowing traces And look out for blown capacitors., if it isnt smoking then part by part add more thing in... Good luck.
