Help! I Need Guidance On CPU Upgrade

I am new to the computer world and decided I would probably need a better CPU if I wanted to get anything done. I have an Intel Core i3 2370M(according to CPU-Z). CPU-Z also said that my motherboard is manufactured by LENOVO. Strangely, it did not give a model. It says my chipset is Intel Sandy Bridge Rev. 09, and my Southbridge is Intel HM65 Rev. 05. It also gives my BIOS information if that is needed. I would like to get a reasonably fast CPU(over 2.4GHz), preferably with at least four physical cores. If needed, I can give the rest of the information. I would prefer an Intel processor. Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming that this is a notebook? If so I doubt you can upgrade it. Most likely it's soldered on to the motherboard. Unfortunately with laptops and notebooks in most cases the only way to upgrade is to buy a new one.
