Ok so, I need my piano (alesis recital pro) sound to be directly as a sound input device , I have a USB B-A to my pc , I was wondering how could I have my sound from the piano recorded as a microphone and not directly trough my actual mic because it will be bad quality. I need it for messenger , but as I said it just needs to be recorded/exported live. Maybe I could use FL Studio or something but i am not sure how could I have it Export audio in real time. please help fast

Update your post to include full pc hardware specs and OS.

Especially audio card/ports.

Piano:

https://www.alesis.com/products/view/recital-pro

  • Stereo ¼” (6.35mm) outputs for connecting to a mixer, amp, or other sound system
  • ¼” (6.35mm) headphone output mutes the internal speakers for private practice
Either output may be directly connectable to the pc via a microphone port or line -in connection. You may need a 1/4" to 1/8" (3.5mm) adapter.

Look for other similar links to confirm line-in connectivity as applicable to your set-up.

Or either output could go through a mixer with or without adapters.

Sketch out possible connection paths and what hardware is necessary.

The address what needs to be done - e.g., cables, adapters, etc. to make the connections.

However do not go to just plugging things in. Check the applicable User Guides/Manuals to determine supported configurations

You probably have a variety of options that involve hardware, software, and configuration settings.

(If you right click the small speaker icon usually found in the lower right screen corner that will lead to quite a number of menu's, screens, tabs, and properties settings all relating to audio options.)

Overall my understanding and expectation would be that you would use the output jacks and combine signals via a mixer.

I am going to move your post to Home Audio and Theater - someone more "musical" may be able to help with working out a solution that maintains sound quality.
