I recently bought RAM for an Acer Aspire 5251 described as "8GB KIT DDR3 1066 MHZ PC3 8500 256x8 (2x4GB) SODIMM" but need help determining what it actually is after installing.

My specs call for:
Dual-channel DDR3 SDRAM support: Up to 4 GB of DDR3 1066 MHz memory, upgradable to 8 GB using three soDIMM modules(for 64-bit OS)
(I think three sodimms is an error, I only have two slots)

Results from Geekbench 2.2.3:
Cores 1 Memory 8.00 GB DDR3 SDRAM 541MHz
(is this roughly 2x541)

and from Sandra Lite 2012:
8GB DDR3 SO-DIMM 2x 533MHz (1GHz) 2x V01D3SF4GB26826813 4GB DDR3 SO-DIMM PC3-10700S DDR3-1334 (9-9-9-25 4-34-10-5)
(is this roughly 2x533, what's with the DDR3-1334)

Thanks a bunch.

Thanks, I got it and above is the results from Speccy, it only says 532 MHz which still makes me wonder.
Never the less, I see the answer to my question is already there in Sandra (8GB DDR3 SO-DIMM 2x 533MHz), it's all good than, thanks again.
