I'm not sure it might be a founders edition 1070 or hp 1070
Also why do you want to know who made this card is there a problem with it

also the accelero xtreme cooler is pretty good

Well I’m new to this and building a PC on a budget. I own a Zotac 1060 6gb but got this 1070 due to the owner having issues with something. He built a new rig and traded me a bunch of his old stuff.

So I need to test the chip, gpu, board etc and trying to decide which card to keep and which to sell to be honest

Yea i was thinking of its being a founders too looks like he replaced the blower cooler because blower gpus aren't that good and they are noisy and 1070 is a good upgrade from 1060 it is similar to 1660 ti performance

Thanks

Anyway to test this without actaully having it installed? I do not have a power supply yet

you can go to any pc shop and test it there

Thanks. I am in a place where the closes shop is 2 hours :(

I have the motherboard he pulled out of his Alienware. I have RAM, an i7 5820k he gave me. I worry about the power so I think since I am building I will just get me a good 750 watt power supply and put it together.

Not sure what type of board it is but I typed in the serial and it seems like is has a decent value so maybe it is good

Here is the mobo

you are lucky it is a standard atx motherboard it have 24 pin connector and 8 pin for cpu

you don't need 750w psu 650w is enough but try to get a good quality one avoid cooler master, thermaltake and weird power supply names i would suggest :
corsair,evga,seasonic

Well I have this i7 5830k and since the board is for anintel was thinking of just using that

My original plan since I am not a HEAVY gamer is to get a Ryzen 2600 but that would mean buying a board as well

On sale this week ($59.99) was thinking of this, is this ok?

EVGA - 700W ATX12V /EPS12V 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply
