Help in choosing a monitor

Hi everyone ,i am going to get a 22/23 inch monitor soon .I am going to use it for gaming,watching movies,and other programs .I am confused between these models ,please help me choose

all these are ips monitors
price wise hp>aoc>dell>lg
i am leaning towards the dell one as its the most popular .My primary concern is the response time
of these ips panels when gaming
Dell 7ms(gtg)
aoc 5ms (gtg bw)
lg 5ms(GTG)* / 14ms(GTG)???
hp 7 ms gray to gray
with dell i don't get the dvi port and with aoc i get an additional hdmi port.
I was planning get a benq 22/24 inch tn monitor but saw that cheap ips monitors were available so i put that plan on hold.

I just bought some new monitors last night, so I have been researching them for a while. As far as the response time, that is just a current draw back to the superior quality of the visuals on IPS. If you want a great response time go with TN and if you want great colors/picture go with IPS. I only really use my PC for web/homework/gaming so I went with the fast response time.
When I was thinking about going IPS, I liked a lot of the LG's because Dell always seemed to have a long response time. I have no idea whats up with the *14ms though, that would kind of scare me.

I have seen and read from many places that an ips panel is far more superior than a tn panel,so that is why i am checking them out.The question remains whether a response time of 7ms will make any difference while gaming or will it be noticeable?? Is a response time above 5ms recommended ,i couldn't find any concrete tests for it???
