Hi, i'm close to the end of this one (i hope) but I'm struk, and confused.

I'm in my office, and found the black box and the key. If I open it, it
explodes. If i leave it be the the game ends nontheless but tells me I
didn't obtan the sample (wich is the real objective of the game, I
belive). Are those the two possible endings or is there a third one I'm
missing? And if so, where should I start to reach it?

The game is not, in fact, over. Select the *** You did not get the sample ***
ending, RESTART, and you will be in the endgame.
