Help Installed more ram but still showed the same

Solution
It sounds like you have a 32 bit operating system. Do you know what type of processor you have?
A 32 bit system can only detect (and utilize) up to 4 Gigabytes of RAM. If you have a 64 bit processor, you can upgrade your operating system to a 64 bit version and detect all the RAM you could desire.
