Hi,

Well, recently my video card burnt out on me. So I decided to get a new one. The problem is, theres no way I can boot up and uninstall my old drivers (Geforce DDR) before I install my new video card (most likely an ATi 9800 pro). Are there any things I should do before I try to install the new video card?

And, is it really a problem if I don't uninstall the old drivers before the new ones? The reason I ask is because I see a lot of people having problems when they don't.

I really don't want to have to reinstall windows as i'm really limited in time right now.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Just pop your new card in so that windows will boot up and then uninstall your old drivers restart and then install your new drivers.
