can a water cooler be installed in any fan slot or is it has to be a specified slot in the case for the cooler's radiator?

i'm currently planning on having a sedion 120V Plus as a CPU cooler (1x120mm)
and Gtx 980Ti GIGABYTE eXtreme Waterforce which has a watercooler (1x120mm)

i wish to know what case would be fit for them (hopefully without discarding any stock fan that comes with the case itself)

As long as you follow the installation instructions for the product you will be fine.

Most ATX cases will have at least 2 120mm fan ports. One rear exhaust near the CPU and one Intake in the front. Case choices are practically infinite, and they come with a varying number and size of stock fans.

I would take a look at the cases you like, get your whole parts list together, and post again to get critiques rather then open ended suggestions.

well this is the parts list that i've came by for now:
case: corsair carbide Series SPEC -3 Specs here
motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Specs here
RAMs:Kingston HYPERX Fury 2x8GB 1866mhz CL10
Storage: two 7200RPM HDD (unfortunately i cannot buy an SSD as i already have these two HDD Drives)
Processor :core i7 4790k
processor cooler:CoolerMaster Sedion 120v Plus(might change for a water cooling dual fan)
GPU:GTX 980Ti eXtreme Waterforce Specs Here
power supply: CoolerMaster G-Series G700W 80 Plus bronze (not sure if that's the best pick for a power supply but i think 700W is good enough)

That case should work. You would likely want to put the GPU cooler at the rear and the CPU cooler up top. They both probably won't fit in the corner, but you have another 120mm mount closer toward the front.

Depending on the length of the hoses on the GPU you might be able to run that as an intake at the front.

at the top slots there are 2x120mm , the CPU cooler is 1x120mm
do you think i can install the CPU cooler on the far side on the top and remove the rear fan that comes with the case to install the GPU cooler there , then install the removed rear fan into the empty bottom front fan?
