Help Installing Samsung 850 Pro 256GB

So I just recently bought an 850 Pro SSD and it did not include a SATA to USB Adapter Cable.
Do I need one to clone my desktop HDD to the SSD? or is the cable just for laptop users?
Can I use my spare SATA cable?

Yea I want to clone it HDD to SSD and it s 215GB. Would it still let me clone?

I don't think so. The Samsung software will probably choke.
You can try it, and see what it says....
