HELP intel CPU- LGA1155

I am having difficulties with my tech project. I need to explain why the intel CPU LGA1155 is a good purchase and why I chose to buy it, any suggestions?!

Other than that. It is a proven socket. It uses the current gen of Intel CPU and will use the immenently coming next gen too.

If I understand correctly, this is a school project of some kind, but Graphite946's point is spot on. Google is your friend. Research until your brain bleeds if you have to, lol.
