Hi everyone, so I have just built a new pc today and I have a lot of issues with the network. So it all started with when I first booted my pc, it went through the setting up devices fine and then when it booted it had the no internet sign when my ethernet was plugged in. It also showed the warning sign next to the network adapters in device manager. I knew this was because I needed to update drivers. I got the new drivers onto a portable HDD and USB and tried to install them and it gets stuck on the window where it says we are preparing the installation wizard and then it wont close when I cancel it. I have tried so many times to install and it wont work. I then tried installing the complete ethernet driver package for the Intel® I219-V and nothing happened. I then deleted the network adapter (I think it was called win32 something) so I could reinstall it. I have tried to reinstall the network adapter by using the netsh command in cmd, reset network in the network settings (it said my PC would restart after pressing reset but it never did), downloading multiple drivers onto a USB and portable HDD and nothing has worked. Please can you help. TIA

Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? Where did you source the networking adapter's drivers from? You should copy the installer over from the removable storage device onto the SSD or a partition on the desktop's HDD and then try installing the drivers using an elevated command, i.e Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
