For some reason my windows 10 internet speed is slow. It never happened to me and comparing to my other devices such as my laptop, it seem to be working fine. I changed my wifi-card and there was no difference. Ethernet is not an option for me unfortunately.

Games that has no lag or latency:

CSGO
Fornite
Dota 2
LoL
Gigantic
Paladins

Games that have really bad latency issues:

PUBG - before: it was buttery smooth now: trash(latency)
H1Z1 - before: ok now: trash(latency)

EDIT: In addition, browsing internet is slow too!

Hi,

Same problem here with a Linksys WUSB6400M adapter. I've tried other adapters but same result.

In my case extremely slow download speed at 2Mbits/s but fast upload 300Mbits/s. Link status between router and adapter shows 650Mbits/s.

Tried a lot of things, remove, reinstall, restart and use other driver set but no success.

Then shutdown all system and switch off motherboad, switch on and load windows and to my surprise speed is normal again.

Seem to be some sort of hw problem, really do not know how to solve it.

For anyone that is having a similar problem I discovered it's all related to drivers of USB Root Hub and USB Host Controller.

In devices in control panel I saw some generic drivers from Microsoft.

I search for drivers in my case AsMedia and found this page https://www.win-raid.com/t834f25-USB-Drivers-original-and-modded.html

Install new drivers and test again and saw no improvement at all in download speed.

Then tried a program call USB Device Tree Viewer were you can view actual connected devices for USB and their current speeds. My wifi adapter is compatible USB 3.0 and connection says is working in mode USB 3.0.

And here is the strange thing. When connected in 3.0 mode upload speed is correct 300Mbits/s but download is ridiculous low.

Change it to mode USB 2.0 and test again and saw speed is about 190Mbits for down and upload.

Really don't know why it's not working is USB 3.0 for download.
