HELP!!! Is my $1300 dollar PC good?

HELP!!! I just want to know if my PC can handle modern games on the highest setting, This is my parts list:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 overclocked to 4.5 GHz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 612 evo
GPU: Asus R9 280 overclocked to 1160 MHz
PSU: Corsair 550 watt
RAM: Deliminator LP 16 GB DDR3
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R9.0
HDD: 1000gb
Case: Antec GX500 Dominator Case with Window

This PC ended up costing me $1300 dollars and I have not got any new games yet, the only
modern game i have is MW3 and it run about 120 FPS with highest settings!

Will my PC run games like Battlefield 4, Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3 at there highest settings?
And is it a good gaming PC?

The CPU could use an upgrade to a FX-8350. Aside from that, everything looks good, you have more than enough RAM, GPU is good, you would run Battlefield 4 on high settings with no problems. You can even run next-gen games like Far cry 4 or Assassin's Creed Unity

Awesome! I will have a look into the FX-8350. But when I play MW3 and minecraft my CPU never gets over 40%!? Anyway thanks for the help mate
