I'm going to use this for gaming mainly for skyrim with 4k or 2k graphics mods and assasin's creed: unity on on medium settings or max if it can and fallout new vegas wtih 4k or 2k graphics mod and crysis 3 at max maybe? all of this at a 1920x1080 resolution also I'm going to do some video and photo editing

Question #1 Is my gaming PC Build good?

Yeah that will be a good gaming pc, but if dong things like video rendering, it isn't needed but I would recommend an i7 due to its hyperthreading technology, I use the I7 4790k with a gtx 970 with 16 gb ram and it is brilliant in any game whilst doing other stuff in background and video rendering. I live in the uk so I don't really know specific price differences in some places ( here computer hardware is expensive ) but in the U.S. there is about an $80 difference between the i5-4690k and the i7-4790k.
