Thanks in advance for your help. Please forgive my novice question, but I wanted to confirm that my SSD is indeed dead.

Stable system built 4y ago, W10 is on a Chronos SSD and data on a HD
Woke sleeping computer yesterday to black screen.
Now system only boots to BIOS. No option to boot from SSD in BIOS (that my novice eyes can see)

Swapped the SSD & HD on the SATA and power plugs. No help
Plugged the SSD in my old rig. Windows explorer doesn't show the SSD.

Is my SSD dead? Does this mean I should go buy another one and reinstall windows?

Update: SSD is recognized by BIOS but won't boot from it.
Updated boot priority to SSD is first
BIOS says "sandforce{20026BB3} 0MB"
What does "0MB" mean? No space on drive? because the drive was previously half full.
