Help! Is this a good gaming rig? first time building

This is what im thinking about, is it good or do i have to make any adjustments(my budget is around 550$):

Processor:I3 -6100
Motherboard:AsRock B150M Pro4
Vcard:Inno3D GTX 960 Herculeez X2 2gb
HDD:WD Blue 1TB
PSU:Seasonic Eco 500BT 500w
RAM:Kingston Xfury 8gb DDR4
Case:Corsair spec01

also i will still buy an OS

Yes, it is enough for gaming, and you would be happy with it.
You don't NEED an i5 or an SSD.. it is just really nice to have them.
Also, it is worth the money in the long run.
My son is in his room gaming on a 8 year old quad core computer..... it is roughly as fast as a modern i3, but I would have needed to scrap his computer years ago if he had started with a less capable CPU when it was new.


ohhh but uhh i dont think my budget could take it and also they say that i3 is enough for gaming :??:
