Thx mates!

they are compatible but you should really give me a budget and let me put one together on pcpartpicker.com for you, immidiately i would change the PSU and the CPU.

do you need an OS/monitor/peripherals? what is your budget? what country do you live in? Are you using this for gaming?

That PSU is pretty crap.

Hi, thx for the answer.
I'm from Brazil, land where hardwares are too expensive and we pay a lot of taxes.
It's for a PC gamer, and i have a great discount on the store with i'm about to buy, but they don't have a big variety of hardwares, this CPU was the only one budget option for the FX 8350 available.
OS, monitor and all others peripherals i already have from my current PC.
Any other suggestion of PSU i will be grateful.

ps. Pls, can you explain me why this PSU is so crap?

The psu uses low quality components, and only gets worse with time. The FX8350 is not going to run at it's rated speed at full loads on that motherboard. You would be better off dropping to the FX6300 or try to get the FX8320E since they are only 95w. Or get a better motherboard.

Can you give us your options on cpu/motherboard and psu?

Hi guys.
On the GigaByte page, says that the GA-78LMT-USB3 Rev 6.0 supports the 125w of the FX 8350, doesnt this mean that this motherboard will run the processor on their full speed? Or i'm wrong about this?
I could take the FX8320E, unfortunately, this motherboard is the only AMD processors option and the most budget too, the Intel processors available on this store it's too overpriced.
Do you guys think that in this limited case of options, i will do get better performance with the FX8320E or get the FX8350 and some time later adquire a better motherboard for this processor?
The PSU options for my pocket on this store is:
EVGA 500W 80 Plus White 100-W1-0500-KR
Corsair CX-500W - CP-9020047-WW 80 Plus Bronze
Thermaltake 500W TR2 ATX 2.3 A-PFC FAN 120MM 80 Plus Bronze PS-TR2-0500NPCBBZ-B
Thx again...

That motherboard officially supports the FX8350 but it will not work well with it. The motherboard does not have the proper power phases to properly handle a 125w cpu. It will throttle under load which means it will automatically down clock a lot due to thermal limits.

None of those psus are very good. Are those REALLY your only options? The EVGA is the least bad one.

Unfortunately yes, they are my only options based on their price, the 600w PSUs available are too expensive here.
For you guys have an idea, this entire pc configuration will coast me here equivalent to U$ 1170, and right now i don't have the luxury of spending more than this.

Well can you drop to the FX6300? How much is the GTX960 compared to the R9 280? The 960 uses about half the power which would help considering you don't have very good psu options. Honestly none of those 500w psus are powerful enough or reliable enough for a FX cpu and R9 280. You'd need at least 600w if it was a GOOD unit and 700w or more for the mediocre quality units. Will dropping to the FX6300 allow you to get a better psu?

Well, i found two PSU 600w that i could adquire, their prices are not too different from those that i posted before, we have the EVGA 600W 80 Plus Bronze 100-B1-0600-KR and the Corsair CX-600W - CP-9020048-WW 80 Plus Bronze.
Even with one of those 600w PSU and with the FX8350 on this motherboard, i will not reach on the full speed of this processor?
If there is no way, i can take the FX8320E? Or the FX6300 is the only one that compensates on this case?

I'm telling you that you will not be happy with any 125w cpu on that motherboard. The psu doesn't really have anything to do with that. The FX8320E would be better, but you should get the FX6300 since it is cheaper and would allow you to get a better psu.

Well then, maybe is better wait until i acquire more cash to buy the MSI 970A-G43 AM3+ and the FX8350.
In this scenario, with PSU of those that i posted before would you recommend?
There's a chance to one of the 500w hold this config?
Thx!
