HELP!!!! Issue with Overclocking GTX 560 ti 448 (SOLVED)

Ok so basically i was overclcoking my gpu today and running benchmarks and stress tests. Before overclcoking i scored 5476 on msi kombustor, after overclocking my scores went up to 6310. I had to bump up the voltage a small bit but it was fine. However in the middle of my stress test i went from a smooth frame rate to a laggy 15 fps. I then did the same benchmark again and only score 2876 this time. So i reset my overclock and its still a low score. Any ideas?

Build:
Processor: i5 4440
Graphics Card: GTX 560 Ti 448 Core
PSU: Evga 500w 30 plus

EDIT: just turned fans up and restarted apears to be back up again the score is now 5484...will stress test now and see if the problem persists.

EDIT: running at 60 degrees at 50 fps will overclock now

Yeah, stress testers act funny if you don't restart. I've had similar issues when OCing my 750 ti.

BTW...As a suggestion, please edit your original post and put your extra comments in there with the "update" word at the beginning of the sentence the next time you make a thread. It will be much easier to read. Thank you.
