First of all, when I built this PC it did restarts, BSOD's (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL; BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER; PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA; KMOD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED; SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) etc. After sending my both RAMs back to warranty, they came back fine. The random restarts I think are caused due to my PSU and/or overheating of my CPU. I've been dealing with this since I first got the components in spring 2012. The PC used to restart and pop up BSODs basically always but then I got some temporary fixes (my PSU was upside down in the case, but the case had a ventilation opening(?) underneath the PSU, so I turned the PSU so the fan would be up and blow air inside not outside, then there almost were no restarts anymore and then I got what I think is not a very good CPU fan so the PC is a bit silenter but my CPU still overheats). I'm thinking of buying a new PSU, CPU cooler and a SSD, I was planning to buy Corsair TX650 PSU, Corsair H60 watercooling and Samsung's 840 250GB SSD. But reading from different forums, some people say that closed-loop watercooling is pretty much pointless and people should go for real watercooling or aircooling, so I was thinking maybe I should buy be quiet's Advanced C1 CPU cooler.
I need your advice on what to buy and to figure out what's wrong with my PC.
Secondly, Lately my PC has become laggy and the last two days I discovered that most of my games don't run anymore, they start blackscreening or won't even open up, also I just played some Prototype 2 and 20-30 minutes in game the fps started jumping up and down (I'm talking from 12-54 fps). I am currently running disk defragementation, uninstalling useless programs and games I don't play anymore, running virus scans etc.
Should I just format my HDD, I haven't done so for about a year or so.
