HELP issues with MOBO, suspect faulty need pro advice

I just build my first pc and have been encountering issues from day one... First day after i finished my build everything worked fine but after leaving comp off for 3hrs and Turing it back on it would power cycle, i thought psu was dead so i exchanged it... Now after psu is replaced and i left pc off for a night it started power cycles again so i removed my second stick of ram and it posted fine, i ran mem test on both sticks of ram and they passed with flying colours.. Also i had issues with booting after replacing psu and using it for a bit, on my mobo it came up with an error code a0, a sata issue... Should i dismantle my pc and rma the mobo or is it another issue

System spec,
cpu : I5-4670k
Cpu cooler : H100i
Ram : F3-12800cl9d-8gbxl ripjaw ram 2x4gb
Gpu : Gigabyte wind force r9 280x
Mobo : Asrock z87 extreme 4
Psu : cosair hx-650 v2

Hi, With single RAM module test each motherboard slot. See if successfully booting in each situation.

Yea it does, it works when i reseat them, single or even dual

I understand that with single RAM the system works OK, but not with both RAMs?

The problem is after i leave the pc off for over 2hrs it will not post but go through power cycles, when i reseat ram it works again. I had psu rma and replaced

I understand now. It looks like a motherboard issue. Have you tried clearing the CMOS or updating the BIOS (if newer version available)?
