Help! JPEG Prob In IE, Office, Not MS Paint, etc.

Something happened. JPEGs now display with distortion in Office 2000 apps, and IE (web browsing sucks..), but other apps like MS Paint and MS PhotoDraw, JPEGs display just fine.

Must be a bad filter or something, but I reinstalled Office and nothing improved. No idea how to reinstall Explorer...

Also, my cursor has this green box background that displays whenever I move my cursor over black text or black backgrounds. Both problems occured at the same time.

Any ideas? I'm on the virge of a reinstallation of W2K, etc.

To reinstall IE if you havent deleted Windows Update Setup Files folder just goto Windows Update Setup Files and click on ie5setup , that should start reinstall.. if it says stuff like you shoudnt reinstall, dont pay any attention to it.. just keep installing...

Also if Windows Update Setup Files folder has been deleted a copy of ie5setup can be found in program files\Internet Explorer folder, just click on it..
