Help LAG and stutters :( RYZEN 3 1300x and 1060 3gb problem

Hi hoping someone can help with my problem. recently have a PC with specs of

P.S this was only given to me as a gift so some of the specs are not that good for a budget PC. it will be rude to complain for the gift. haha


Ryzen 3 1300x OC to 3.9ghz(no voltage adjustment) it works fine
GTX 1060 3gb on stock
500HD 5200rpm(I know) ( where windows is installed)
1TB HDD 7200(where games is installed)
8gb Ram Tforce Delta 2400 oc to 2666
MSI b350 gaming plus
disabled superfetch (better for HDD)

The problem is

1. always stutters in games

1.a. I'm playing battlefield 1 on high settings. CPU on max usage and GPU around 70 to 90%. Both temps were around 50 to 60 degrees(so no cooling issues).
also im only getting around 30 to 40fps. I watched some videos on youtube playing the same game with the same specs on high settings but they don't experience lags and stutters and they have high FPS.

I'm also playing AC Odyssey and having sudden FPS drops after around 30minutes of playing FPS drops FROM average of 58fps to 15fps!!!


2. having stutters in windows and it takes time to open apps
High cpu usage on microsoft service platform at 35% ( I have a genuine windows, no malwares and virus i checked.)


please HELP

if that is only one stick of 8gb ram that is probably your issue, 8gb alone isn't enough for BF1 or BFv. you want to be running in dual channel with Ryzen cpu's (2sticks) it will help performance quite a bit. if you get a new kit i would suggest getting a faster one like 3200mhz, gains will be worth it and the stuttering should go away

Oh sorry i forgot to mention that I'm running dual channel 2 sticks of 4gb RAM.

Other possibility would be the hdd but either way 8gb will cause stutter in bf1. been there

i tried adding more ram to 16gb but still i have lags and stutters and sudden fps drops to 10 to 15fps in AC Odyssey
