Question HELP: laptop BLACK screen

Hello so I recently got a laptop which is lenovo g50-70 but the problem is that when I turn it on I can just see a BLACK screen with there is a white light which indicates that laptop has turn on and you can also hear the fan spinning. I tried connecting it to monitor but it doesn't work I also tried to change the ram from slot 1 to slot 2 and it also didn't work can you please HELP and give me some advices what I can do or what is wrong with my laptop. Thanks
