Hi.

I have a 320 Gb Sata hard drive with a single partition; full of data. (its a data drive only; no system partition).

Recently, it got corrupted, because when I install it, it says, "this drive is not formatted, do you want to format it now?"

By using 'Active Partition Recovery Professional' software, I have been able to "bring back" or "view" the lost partition and all its folders and files in this software.

However, in Windows explorer, I still get the same command. "drive not formatted...".

Can anyone guide as to how to view the data in Windows explorer?

Thanks and Regards.

It's obvious you need to use Active Partition Recovery Professional or another data recovery program to copy out everything from the drive and re-format the drive and then copy everything back in.

Connect your 320 GB SATA hard disk to another system and use it as an external hard disk to copy your files. Or then use " Active Partition Recovery Professional" to copy the files.
