Help make a bootable usb

Hello , can you help me make a windows 7 bootable usb from iso?
I dont want to use cmd , is there a software to make it bootable?

There is. My favorite is "ISO to USB" and you can get it here...http://www.isotousb.com/ It will walk you through the entire process, jsut remember to check the box that says "bootable"

Microsoft actually makes a very good tool for that exact task, I have moved all of my windows dvd's to USB with this tool with no issues: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool

Insructions are in the link. Never used isotousb but the microsft tool is very straightforward, after it is installed you just open it, select the iso, select the output flash drive and it will do its thing.

On a side note when installing windows via USB, if you select usb as boot device from the quick boot and that does not work, then you need to do the following:

Go to hard drive group in your bios and select the usb as your first boot "drive", then in generic bios boot settings select hard disk group as first boot device.



Some slightly older motherboards (especially those that are not UEFI), wont boot a USB drive without setting it in the hard drive group.

If I have other files on the USB drive will the Windows USB/DVD download tool delete them?

This tool requires the USB drive to be completely blank before the Windows files are copied. This helps ensure that the device is bootable after the copying has completed.

Yes, either tool reformats the usb drive and thus wipes off all files.
