Hello World,
I run a serious upload on a separate pc which hogs all the bandwidth. When I game while this is going on I have 800 ping instead of 80 ping and I keep getting kicked from matches due to slow connection, and my pc is using ethernet. I've seen people make some sort of separate internet thingy on which there is not much usage so the devices using it get optimal connection with no interference. So my question is, is there a method in which i would get regular connection on my gaming pc, while I have the upload running on a separate pc, and if there is how i would go about doing it?

Thanks

The easiest solution is to limit the uploads with software on the PC doing the upload so it does not use all the upload bandwidth.

There is no magic way to fix over utilization of a internet connection other than taking out your credit card and buying more bandwidth or buying a second connection so you game can have one of its own.

You might be able to use QoS on your router if it has that feature but it will be much more complex to configure than to just do a similar configuration on the machine doing the upload.
