Help me build a Gaming MONSTER PC

Hey all. I just built a 1k computer and I feel like I want more. If I up my budget to 2k or 2.5k without peripherals, would that put me into 60+ fps on 1440 or 4k resolution? If not then what must my budget be? I am setting aside 600-1000 for a 1440p/4k monitor. Let me know if this is not realistic. What do you suggest for me? Thank you.

why would you want to pay $1k for a monitor ? Get a BIG screen 4K for about the same $$

I do not know much as far as costs go for 4k monitors i figured I would reach out to the community to gather information about them and to see if I'm being realistic or over the top. I would like a brand new build.

The Xeon is pretty much an i7 w/o overclocking capabilities

For within $2500, you should get this build. The motherboard supports 3-way SLI if you want to add a third GTX 980 later down the road. Or get two GTX 980 Tis in SLI.

Total cost of 2.6K Just take away the stuff that you don't need since you will be upgrading and not be building. You havent provided the stuff that you already have so I have no idea what you want to upgrade. But if you're just gonna build a new system, then something like this will be a beast in the 1440p gaming department. And if you overclock the GPU and CPU abit more, the performance gain will be so much higher.
