My days as a gamer unfortunately are over. Guess age has its effect. Currently I have an I5 Ivy Bridge and 8GB of RAM that have been serving well over the past 7 or 8 years from the time I used to game . Problem is that my Mobo is already old and wont support WIN 10 so Im still stuck on Win 7 and my 7200 RPM HDD makes my PC boot in like 5 min until I can actually start using it. Therefore I decided its time to get a new rig.

What are my uses? Browsing with FF and Explorer opened simultaneously (about 8 tabs opened on Explorer and another 4-5 on FF) and chrome from time to time. Also Office and PDF documents, media, and I am also using a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
Anyway, budget wise I cant give you in USD since I dont reside in the USA. Please take a look here. When you choose parts, next to each part there's a number. Thats the price. then on the bottom you will see the the total amount. Please suggest a build that the total number will be between 1600 - 2000. But only reach 2000 if its worth it.

I dont intend on upgrading again in 3-4 years unless my needs change, so it has to serve me well for at least 5 years.

I believe that Ryzen 3 2200G would be enough? correct me if im wrong.
I also dont need HDD as I have an external 2TB WD, so only a SSD. 250GB would be enough for me.
So I need CPU, MOBO, SSD, PSU, RAM and a CASE

Thanks for your help. I have a few questions please

1. Why did you choose the Ryzen 5 2400G? I admit I thought about it too for a long time, just was afraid it will be overkill. But theres actually a spring sale right now so the price that you saw is now lower by 7% so I guess its worth it. Just curious why this and not the R3

2. Would 8GB RAM wont be enough nowadays? Also, is Team a reliable company? Never heard of them. Is it the best bang for the buck?

3. The Corsair case, the power button and "front panel" jacks on the side. I would rather have it on top. How about the Antec NX200 or the the Antec P7 ?

4. Gigabyte B450M DS3H I noticed has some negative reviews online.. Read some good reviews about the Asus PRIME B450-PLUS but its more expensive. What do you think?

R3 = 4core 4 thread,
R5 = 4 core 8 thread - so its more future proof for you (twice the power in theory)
Team is a common company, 8GB would be enough if you're not gaming
A Case is a Case, as long as it can hold what you want it to, cases are personal preferences. Some are made better than others, but since you are not modding it or anything, choose the case that you like the look off and read a review about it, there will be plenty of opinions online about it. Trust proper installers over "normal" folk.
Never trust "peoples" reviews when it comes to electronics, you need to trust more of the actual reviewers, as they know what they are generally looking for. Most negative comments always come from "took a long time to arrive" or "it was broken on arrival" and for that get 1 star.

The reason I take reviews as a pinch of salt, is because most people don't know what they are talking about unless they are an expert. You wouldn't care what a gardener says over a doctor who is operating on you, would you? (as an example)

Thank for the advice. I definitely dont game, but 8 would be enough for the long run? Also, 3000 is a must for this CPU? Or can I also take 2400 and 2600?

Yeah I’d get the 2400g, 16GB RAM and an M.2 SSD.

If it’s a none gaming build a small itx black box should do well

https://www.tms.co.il/53311

Your build is way too expensive. My budget is 2000 TOPS and your build is 3075.
How about this one? Or is it too big for my build? https://www.tms.co.il/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=101062
Also there's this one https://www.tms.co.il/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=101393

BTW, Samsung SSD 250G 860 EVO 2.5" SATA III is not preferred over the Samsung SSD 250GB 860 EVO M.2. The SATA 3 one got TONS of excellent reviews

I can't see 2x4GB 3200 Ram - which is what I would recommend. Dual Ram makes it run a lot better. To get it under 2000 you can change the SSD to the Samsung one, but this is 512GB and not 250GB which was only a little less than the Intel.
The case is decent, but you can change it again to a cheaper one - save some cash - it's not over important. It's a case that you like which you must choose.

Didnt pay attention to the Intel® SSD 660p. For that price im gonna go for it. You are right about the 2x4GB. For some reason there is a big lack of 2x4GB but there are plenty of choices for 2X8GB, which again makes me wonder if I should still go for a dual 2X8GB 3000 since its the only option with dual channel. There is a $37 difference. The G.Skill 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 3000 would be enough?

The NZXT, although I heard its great, costs more than what Im planning to spend on a case. But even if I take a cheaper case like the P5 or P7, Its still a little above the 2000 because of the 16GB memory. Its a again a $37 difference if I take it with 8GB single channel or 16GB dual channel.

(Btw, this build is $574 if I convert it to USD)

Don't build a new rig!
Your 3rd gen i5 is more than enough for your purposes. The only thing you need to upgrade is the hdd. Get a ssd and install windows 10 on it. The ssd will give your pc a huge performance boost in boot time and app loading.

Also i highly doubt that you even need to install one driver for your motherboard to get windows 10 to work Windows will set up everything for you by itself. I am currently using two second gen i7 rigs and both work flawlessly with windows 10.

Actually for your use case, I'd just upgrade ram to 16GB and install SSD and be done.
Ivy bridge system supports windows 10 just fine.

It wont matter. My MOBO graphics card is probably faulty. Gigabyte B75M-D3V. It has no HDMI connection and the DVI connection is giving me issues. For a while Im connect to the VGA port
Also, Its rare to find a 2X8GB DDR3 1600 in stors here. I only found 1 channel DDR3 and 16GB DDR3 1600 is not only rare, but quite pricey. I do see your point, but I keep my PC for quite a few years

Also, cant see Win 10 support here. Only XP/7/8

8GB will not be enough for browsing with multiple tabs. In a sense it will not be a smooth experience with lot many tabs open if you limit the memory to only 8GB. I recommend using 16GB for smoother experience over time.

For the case get Corsair 200R as it has I/O in the front.
https://www.tms.co.il/cc9011023ww

Corsair 200R is high quality most trusted and highly reviewed case.

Is this case also silent? I have read that the stock cooler of the R5 could be noisy

iGPU is built into CPU (not motherboard). It would be highly unlikely for it to be faulty.
If a different type video output is needed, you can install some cheap low end graphics card - like GT 710.

16GB DDR3 in single module will not work on your board. Those usually are server ECC ram modules.
Only 8GB + 8GB DDR3 would work. Though - it's possible to run into compatibility problems, if both modules are not from same kit.

And you don't really have to worry about drivers. Windows 10 can use windows 7 drivers as well.

OK, I think you should do the following.
Get yourself an SSD (doesn't have to be M2) and put that in your machine
Download and install windows 10 from fresh in a USB
Remove your HDD, and see if you can get windows 10 working on the NEW SSD
It doesn't matter if it doesn't work, as this is what you can use in your new machine, but if it does work.
Then you have saved yourself a lot of money and got yourself a smoother/faster machine.

Thank you all. I really appreciate everyone's advice. I thought about both options and decided to go for a new rig in order to avoid potential compatibility issues or other issues that might arise due to using new parts with this old lady I have here. Im not that of a tech savvy anyway. Also, considering the fact that most chances I will keep this new rig for at least 6 years (unless my needs change significantly), it comes down to about $96 per year, or $8 per month. I can definitely live with that.
I took your advice, and I believe this is the best build for the budget. $22 more than the maximum I wanted to spend but no big deal.

I don’t know the price of shit there and the website is weird, could do a part picker list and convert the price if you’d like?

That is a really decent build. Nice for your budget and will function smoothly over longer period of time without the requirement of an upgrade. Only addition to the build you be needing over time will be of a new HDD.
