Help me build my gaming pc?

Give your opinion about the gaming pc I built:

-Processor i3 3220 -> R$165,00
-GPU geforce gtx 580 or HD 7950 -> $440,00
-RAM 2x4gb ddr3 kingston -> $115,00
-hdd 1 tera 7200 rpm -> $124,00
-power supply corsair 500w -> $121,00
-MB ASUS for Intel P8Z77-M -> $194,00
-Case -> R$70,00
TOTAL: $1280

So, I know these prices are overpriced but that's because I converted the prices from Brazil because I live here. I can't spend more money than this, so if you can help me telling how can I get a better performance for gaming in for about $1080(my real budget) it would be great. And I need to know, should I get a gtx580 or hd7950? I heard hd7950 overclocked is better, but for this I would have to buy a cooler fan right?

See if you can find an Asus, Asrock or Gigabyte motherboard with a H77 chipset. That one you have listed is an excellent motherboard, but you don't need the features a Z77 provides. An H77 motherboard would be much better suited for your build and it will save you some money.

Of those two graphics cards, I'd go with the 7950.

actually I choose this one because it was the cheapest I could find with usb 3.0 but I will try to find a cheaper one. And about the 7950, do you think that it would be a good idea to overclock it? I would need to improve the cooling of my pc also right? tyy
