Hello Folks,

I recently moved to Germany and I decided its about time that I got my-self a proper Gaming Rig. I have never built a PC before but I have been wanting to build one for the last few years soI have been passively researching hardware. But I would like to ask the community for advice on Hardware, to help me avoid common pitfalls and build the best build for the money.

My Budget is around 800-900 Euro (not including peripherals)

The Aims of my Rig

I play a very broad range of games but I would like to be able to play current and future AAA titles in High-Ultra Settings. For the time being I will probably game on a 1080p Monitor but I would like to be able to game at 1440p in the future (I accept that I will Need to lower Setting)

I would like to be able to do some Manipulation and processing on Large Images (typically .jpg and .tiff) as my work might require it (Noting too extreme)

I want to achieve reasonable Sound Levels and power consuption. The PC will be in my bedroom so i dont want it too loud.

My Proposed Build

Im trying to source everything Inside Germany/Europe to avoid additonal tax.
If you happen to know of any good stores Please Let me know.

Thanks for reading through my proposed build . if you have any suggestions on Hardware selection, please, id love to hear your Input. I dont intend on buying my PC for another month or so so theres plenty of time to have a disscusion.

Not that power supply, Corsair CX series are not great. They are popular, but quality wise they are only average:

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

CX is a tier 3 PSU.

This would be better as a PSU: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B0038T0V8Q/?tag=pcp05-21

This is a tier 2A PSU, which is just below the top, and it's by seasonic, one of the best PSU manufacturers.

Also, 760 might be a little under powered for games lately, if you can stretch your budget a bit, try and get a 970 if you can, it'll be better bang for the buck

Rest of the build looks good.

Thanks a Million for the Input, That PSU Looks like it could be a great addition. Not too sure about the 970 though as its an extra 100 Euro, although as you said might be better in the Long run

if you want high settings i would really suggest you get a gtx 970.
For most silence get an asus strix gtx 970 ( it's the most quiet ).

If you want the best prices for germany check:
pcpartpicker.com ( select germany in top right corner ) it will give you the lowest prices.

For personal experience: azerty.nl --> based in holland but amazing customer care and still great prices.

Thanks thats really good advice

your welcome,

one more tip:
the memory below costs 3€ more then yours but has CAS 7 instead of CAS 9.
Always nice to have that little extra:

G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
