Hey, im planning to upgrade my PC but im a complete noob when it comes to PCs. I'm keeping my GPU, PSU, Case, SSD, HDD.
I'm mainly concerned about the motherboard and cooler I've chosen. My goal is to overclock the cpu to 4.8 ghz. Also I hope every part is compatible with everything.
-Motherboard: ASUS STRIX Z390-H
-Cooler: Scythe Mugen 5 B
-GPU: MSI GTX 960 4GB
-CPU: Intel i5 9600k
-PSU: FSP Hyper 600w
-Case: Corsair Spec-02
-RAM: HyperX 16 GB 3200 MHz DDR4
-SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
-HDD: Toshiba 1TB

Solution
That setup is compatible and will game fine. For video editing including other workstation tasks, streamin+gaming, or heavy multitasking, the 6 threads of the cpu will struggle.
I would consider a 2600x, but the 9600k is very good.
Realistically you can run CSGO on a core 2 duo but the 9600k is a great processor. You may be able to get 5.0ghz out of it.

Im basically only using my pc to surf on the web and csgo. For csgo its a really good processor (lot of people using it and getting above 300 fps with streaming). So I am pretty sure i want to get that processor.

I know a couple streamers who use 9600k for streaming csgo so I'm confident with it. I think I will only go for 4.8 ghz cuz its enough for me. Thanks for the help!
