Hello everyone!

I don't have the most knowledge about monitors, I'm looking for a new gaming monitor which suits my computer specs.

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-980x (12M Cache, 3.33 GHz ) (NO OC)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming 6GB
Ram: G.Skill 16GB DDR3-2133 memory
Motherboard: GIGABYTE X58A-UD7
SSD 128GB & HDD WD 1TB
PSU: Corsair RM1000i PSU
System type: Windows 10 Pro Professional

Currently i have Samsung 22" BX2331 LED" 1920x1080 2ms Full HD.

Thanks in advance for the help :)

How much is your budget? The new standard is 1440p and a lot of them are GSync 1ms 144+ monitors.

What games do you play? The only games I know why people REALLY have to get 1080p 240 is CSGO and Siege... maybe fortnite???

So if it's within budget, I'd recommend 1440p144hz. You get the high tier gaming feel plus the clarity you deserve. And I believe your specs can push it with few graphic options turned off. If it's not within budget and you want high frames, you can get a 1080p144. Refresh rate can only do so much, but if you really want to pwn people, skills are more necessary. But like I said, it depends on what you play.
